Decorative Concrete in Chicago
Stamped patterns, color and texture for patios, driveways, walkways and entryways. Built to look good and handle Chicago freeze and thaw.
Concrete that looks like stone, brick or tile
Decorative concrete gives you the look of natural stone, slate, brick or wood plank without the gaps, weeds and shifting pavers. Color and texture are built into the surface, then sealed to protect against salt, UV and wear. It works indoors and out, on floors, patios, pool decks, walkways and driveways.
Decorative options
- Stamped concrete. Patterns pressed into fresh concrete: ashlar slate, cobblestone, brick, flagstone and wood plank.
- Integral and broadcast color. Color mixed into the concrete or broadcast on the surface, with release colors for highlights.
- Resurfacing overlays. A thin decorative layer over sound existing concrete, stamped or textured.
- Stained and scored finishes. Stain with saw-cut patterns, borders and inlays. See concrete staining.
Built for Chicago weather
Outdoor concrete in the Chicago area goes through dozens of freeze-thaw cycles every winter, plus de-icing salt. We use proper control joints, air-entrained mixes on new pours and a breathable sealer that protects color without trapping moisture. Resealing every few years keeps the surface looking fresh.
Where decorative concrete fits
Backyard patios, front walks, entry steps, pool decks, driveways, restaurant patios and retail entrances. Indoors, decorative overlays and stains work in basements, lobbies and showrooms.
Cost
Decorative concrete pricing depends on new pour versus overlay, the pattern, the number of colors and site access. We give you a written number after measuring on site.

โManny and Chris did an excellent job sealing and fixing multiple cracks in my garage floor. Epoxied the floor and now it is 10x better looking than before, all at a decent price!โ
โF&L flooring are amazing. Redid my entire basement floor and could not be more pleased. The company is as professional as it gets when creating what I asked for. Would definitely recommend.โ
โTruly very professional. Explained everything they had to get done, they did it, and it was very clean after the job was done. Price was very, very fair.โ
